Amazing how Butler and buddies have time to work on a buyout, but yet can't seem to file their Annual Report on time.
I have a Tangible Book Value at $3.45 (using Sept 2012 data). $1 per share seems rather low. Lets hope for another bid.
I'm not sure that there will be a 10K filed with the SEC, because CRC has gone dark and moved to the Pink Sheets. Not a very nice way to treat shareholders, because now they have to evaluate a proposed buyout based on numbers from the end of last September. Looking at those numbers, net current asset value is about $1.92 per share - thus a bid of around a dollar a share, is basically buying the company for less than liquidation value.
I am not now, and have never been, a shareholder of CRC.
