The new board member s that were just hired recently would not take the position and risk their reputation ..unless dvax has a strong possibility of being approved..if it had no chance they would of not taken the job

In addition to that line above, I had MUCH more about why that thought is BS.
He's RETIRED after a 40 YEAR distinguished career at PFE (he's already done his serious work).
NO ONE is going to REALLY care if this BOD position is some "mistake". He won't need to live it down with ANYONE afterwards (really).
If you cannot reason that out #$%$ from shineola), then tell me and I will explain it further.
This is important, but in the end it's just a BOD position.
BOD members don't actively work for the company in the same traditional sense that other employees do. Think about it. BOD members are supposed to be largely invisible.
They oversee, advise, vote and recommend; they are supposed to look out for us common shareholders, but frankly they have done a terrible job of that here.
For invisible folks, they surely collect shares like a vacuum cleaner though.
This is nice, but I'd rather have some milestone developments on some type of pipeline item(s).
So far we see a lot of deck reshuffling and a misguided priority to book a speaking engagement at some bio investor conference; God help us, this company need real developments.
