Ron Baron and his team are hitting their stride. BPTRX is out-pacing the market, as well it should for the expenses involved. But it must be said that Ron is delivering to his investors. Way to go ! Though I don't think that managed funds are often worth the risk or the expenses, Ron knows what he is doing and it makes Baron Partners fund worth the additional risk and cost. However, remember to diversify.
I agree about the good performance, but his expense is not cheap - about 1.7 % I recall. The index fund, on the other hand, is less than 0.25%. Big difference which is crucial for the long term performance.
