I can see it now if they strike and the union does use the list and has people switch,then according to the union 1,000,000 customers leave VZ and go to AT&T. Now VZ says look we lost 1,000,000 customers how can we maintain our head count no JSL no job security unless all 1,000,000 come back not 999,999 all 1,000,000. If they do get all 1,000,000 back then AT&T says to the union sorry we lost 1,000,000 customers we have to lay off more union people!

You need to go back into your shell and allow the union to do their work for you, just like before you retired. You need to stay out of their way and follow instructions. You don't need to think for yourself or make any decisions, the shop steward will tell you what you need to know and what to do.
