    Update

JSL WILL BE IN NEW CONTRACT. WE WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR BENEFITS, ABSENTEEISM POLICY WILL HAVE A COMMITTEE TO STUDY IT. MOVEMENT OF WORK WILL BE AT .7%.

When will this happen, not too soon if the Union has its ways. Everyday the company is spending an additional $1.2 million to keep SCABS in waiting. This is killing them. Hey, I think we are in a "working strike."

THESE ARE THE FACTS. MANY MIGHT NOT LIKE THEM OR AGREE WITH THEM, BUT THEY WILL SEE THEM IN THE NEW CONTRACT!!!!

I am sure I will be getting blasted for this one!!!

    • Nah, the old one still works and you're still as big a pain as ever. You don't work here, go back into your shell and quit pretending you anything to say that anyone wants to listen to.

    • I can see it now if they strike and the union does use the list and has people switch, then according to the union 1,000,000 customers leave VZ and go to AT&T. Now VZ says look we lost 1,000,000 customers how can we maintain our head count no JSL no job security unless all 1,000,000 come back not 999,999 all 1,000,000. If they do get all 1,000,000 back then AT&T says to the union sorry we lost 1,000,000 customers we have to lay off more union people!

    • And when it was really high and split, it was GTE stock!

    • stock hasn't split in a while..stock was up to 60 a few years back..it hasn't split since..only gone Down...

get your head out of your ass...YOU LOST A TON of $$$ bcz of the greedy CEO's in that company you can thank them...oh i forgot to mention... it'll go down alot further as well...better sell now b4 you LOOOZZEEE

    • I don't day trade sh*t for brains. In it for the long haul. It's called dollar cost averaging, dumb ass. Besides, the stock split since I got in. Ever heard of such a thing happening?

You're so stupid you don't have a clue that you don't have a clue.

    • what an idiot...

      'Scabmaster hate losing money'

what a joke VZ stock was up over 60 a few years back ..be lucky to see 40 in 4 years...
you must have lost a TON..let me say it again TON of $$$...what a DOPE..he can thank his gods (Babbio/Ivan) for that...thank them you stupid idiot....

    • Come up with a new schpeel. It's getting old.

    • Would that smell resemble the smell of your last date.

You need to go back into your shell and allow the union to do their work for you, just like before you retired. You need to stay out of their way and follow instructions. You don't need to think for yourself or make any decisions, the shop steward will tell you what you need to know and what to do.

Don't worry about the lawsuits against Verizon or those of Verizon against the CWA, your past dues will surely cover the legal expense that will be wasted.

You need to stay off this board and stop muddying up the waters for current and working union members. The world has changed since you were on the payroll (notice please I didn't accuse you of working) and their world is a different place. Leave them alone to make their own way.

Reruns are about to start, you had better find the remote.

    • coyotes are a menace and wet ones stink!

    • Most of them are still at work. What part of working 12 hour days 6 to 7 days a week, for a non-existing state of emergency didn't you understand???? It has been posted quite a bit in that article about CWA's law suit. Not to be mean but come on guys and gals. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean you have to act like this.
