<and why don't you go live in one of those islamic republics for a couple months. You know, where you can't so much as expose your nose in public, can't get a job, and lord knows what else.>
1407 Well now in Iraq they no longer expose their noses because they are shooting at us. They don't have jobs because we disbanded the army, allowed them to keep their weapons and they have nothing to do, except of course, cover their noses and shoot at us. We give all the work to Haliburton, who does things like "import" concrete, rather that give the Iraqi's some meaningful work in rebuilding their own country.
But this is all part of the mission accomplished strategy I'm sure.
BTW Iraq, unlike Afganistan, was a secular country before we went in. Allah only knows what it will be like when we leave.
The coalition is in the process of building the largest cement plant in Iraq and it will employ aroud 3,000 people. This plant will serve a large part of the Iraq infrastructure that was in need of repair before and after the war started. They have also developed a large water storage and a fuel farm of 800,000 gallons. All now run by Iraqis. I know it's hard to fathom for you liberals but, the sky is not falling. These examples are only a small few of the improvements made in Iraq for Iraq by the coalition. You may want to look for alternative information other than that Democratic news station of CNN.

Typical childish reply, "if you don't like it here, why don't you move to...?" That the best you can do? Are you really living in such a freaking paradise that there is nothing with the status quo that can be criticized? Are things just so perfect that you see absolutely nothing that can be improved? Seems like YOU would fit in much more in a place where no one is allowed a dissenting opinion. I, on the other hand, am very concerned about individual liberties being eroded, in this purported land of the free, under the pretense of lies, hoaxes and fears from a government led by neocons.
