Employees would be better served if they had a choice on to join the union or not. Better yet, a choice of 2 unions. That way you could pick the better one. The way it is now, you don't have a choice, choice is made. Your dues are not voluntarily paid, but with held. FWIW, there are surely more pro's than con's to collective bargaining, but you can see that the inefficiency/inability of the union is why so many people hate unions.
