    • <Bush is not evil, but he is incredibly stupid>

How do you know? Has it ever occurred to you that every single one of his "mistakes" have the effect of benefiting his program?

Maybe the neocons want a state of endless war to justify a police state and a cowed congress at home.

Maybe Bush wants to bankrupt the federal government to fulfil Grover Norquist's ambition of being able to drown it in his bathtub.

Even the destruction of New Orleans--did you ever notice who benefits? The Port of Houston.

    • < I have provided links,,, You have chosen to disbelieve them..>

When I send my son to wash to car, I don't want him to sponge the hubcaps and and say he washed the car.

You provided links supporting your claim that there was overseas insider trading on 9/11. Your claim that ALL the insider trading was overseas was not supported. Nor was your claim that "The FBI and SEC determined (after a 2 year investigation).. that the 'puts' placed,, in the USA by USA citizens.. were explained as part of a normal business plan..." supported by links.

I didn't disbelieve your links. I disbelieve the dishonest interpretations you put on them.

I never said Bush and Cheney bombed the towers. You seem to infer that if somebody bombed the towers, it must have been Bush and Cheney. How do you make that inference?

    • I have provided links,,,

You have chosen to disbelieve them..

Because they do not fit your preconceived notion,,,

that Bush and Cheney bombed the twin towers...!!!!!!!!

      Do the research yourself...

FACT.. Instead of questioning me... maybe you should be questioning the motivation of the web sites you quote,,, outright failure to even consider the SEC and FBI reports..

Your very denial that the investigations even took place,,,, proves my point.!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • < it has already been investigated,>

It has not been investigated. They decided that since there as no connection between al Qaeda and the inside trades, that therefore they were not inside trades. That's circular reasoning, and not investigation.

And your failure to providelinks supporting your assertions would seem to indicate that you're embarrassed of your sources.

    • First off,, you never read what i posted...

The FBI and SEC determined (after a 2 year investigation).. that the "puts" placed,, in the USA by USA citizens.. were explained as part of a normal business plan which included seasonal downturns in air travel,, and the continuing "Clinton downturn" in the economy.. (remember.. as anyone who has owned stock in the 90 can tell you....the DOW topped out in March of 2000,, and was still dropping in Sept of 2001......

NO ONE HAS EVER DENIED THAT THE "PUTS"
PLACED IN EUROPE AND JAPAN,, FROM MIDDLE EAST BANKS,,,, WERE QUESTIONABLE..,,..

So like I have said,,,,, Why are you still stuck on Sept 2001 reporter speculation... and why are you refusing to acknowledge,, December of 2003,, FBI and SEC reports....,,

PS,, the investigation reports are separate from the 911 commission report..

And as far as the Deutsche Bank ,,, that is a German bank,,
      >>Deutsche Bank was founded in Germany in January 1770 as a specialist bank for foreign trade in Berlin. Its first branches, inaugurated in 1871 and 1872 were opened in Bremen, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Leipzig and Dresden.<<

And the last time I checked a map.... Germany was part of Europe...... which FBI and SEC the investigation have already stated,,, was one of the countries that middle east banks placed the "puts" through

So no matter how you try an confuse the issue.... it has already been investigated,,,,, if you only had the nerve to do the research,,, and find sources you trust...

one real question should be asking....... Why do the web sites you rely on for information,, never mention the 2003 FBI and SEC reports...

I know they do not,,, because you had no idea the reports existed,,

    • < FBI investigated those "puts" placed by americans.. in American.. ,, and found no connection to any terrorist group... >

So what does that tell you? That maybe some people knew it was coming who had nothing to do with al Qaeda?

What does that tell you? Besides, you're wrong about no connection to terrorists. The Deutsche Bank handled a lot of those trades, and its top guy was Buzzy Krongard, former CIA head.

< FBI investigated those "puts" placed by americans.. in American.. ,, and found no connection to any terrorist group... >

To Saudis? Is that why the 9/11 Commission didn't want to investigated them--because the inside traders were kissing W?

<are you calling all of those democrats (who sat on that commission) liars also..>

I'm calling everyone on the 9/11 Commission except Max Cleland (who resigned in disgust) a #$%@$# liar.

    • What is interesting,, is you are still stuck on the news reporters speculations (not facts) from Sept of 2001, (check the dates of the stories you linked to)..

But not interested in the FBI investigation results,, issued 2 years later...

But that is not strange,, because the entire conspiracy theory is based the same way.....

All based on speculation from Sept 2001,,,, and not the results of 2 years of investigations released 2 years later...

Talk about a bunch of people stuck in the past.....

    • FACT,,,

FBI investigated those "puts" placed by americans.. in American.. ,, and found no connection to any terrorist group...

It says so in the last sentence of both links I posted...

FACT.. overseas puts (which showed up in American counts,, because they were American stocks).. have been traced to several middle eastern banks,,, where security exchange laws are lax to none..

Those are the facts,,,, I can not help it,,, if you are still in such deep denial,, about the 9/11 attacks... that you WILL NOT believe them...

PS,, do you need to borrow my copy of the 911 commission report.... or are you calling all of those democrats (who sat on that commission) liars also..

    • fartez, your claim was that "the money you are talking about" went overseas. Your links show there was overseas insider trading. They do not show that this was substantial in relation to the US-based insider trading in UAL and AMR puts associated with 9/11.

Here's from the San Francsico Chronicle:

"There was an unusually large jump in purchases of put options on the stocks of UAL Corp. and AMR Corp. in the three business days before the attack on major options exchanges in the United States. On one day, UAL put option purchases were 25 times greater than the year-to-date average."

"[T]he trading ratio in UAL put options on the Thursday before the attack was 25 times its normal level, according to data from the Options Clearinghouse Corp.... The purchase of AMR puts on the day before the attacks was about 10 times the normal level so far this year, with 4,556 put contracts purchased."

Faretz, please tell us your sources of information. I am quote confident that you do not regularly consult so reputable a resource as cooperativeresearch.

Your sources are dishonest--lumping together facts to create mistaken impressions. Lumping together overseas trades with US trades and claiming they're all overseas. Lumping together ANWR and Gull Island to give the impression that
      ANWR has substantial oil reserves.

    • You must be Clinton or Obama's campaign manager...or is this Howard "the screamer" Dean? Moron...this is a stock message board.
