In case anyone missed the sarcasm...I was thanking the unikns for going on strike, cause my paycheck was bountiful this week from all that OT!!

So what is it? Maybe $100 / week times 45,000 union members works out to $4.5 MILLION per week the union officials are giving away from their slush fund pockets? NO WAY are they going to keep that up. They will announce a tentative agreement, no matter how bad the deal is and tell the members, "we did our best"

I just paid off two credit cards from all that OT I'm working thanks to CWA and IBEW!! One more check and I will be completely debt free!! Keep up the "fight" CWA/IBEW...I will be more than happy to bring in those large paychecks every other week! And when this is all done...it's off for a 10 cruise...again...thanks to you all and your winless strike!! Hahaha

The longer the union pays you; the longer you stay out. The longer you stay out; the longer Verizon has to get the replacement workers up to speed. The longer the replacement workers are working; the shorter your Verizon career.
Been in many aspects of telecom over 40 years. It only takes a few months to get up to speed with any telecom job these days, especially with the tech support centers available who are used to bailing out the incompetent union techs.

REALLY MORON? You are on strike and are happy with the union paying for your load? That won't last long, because the union cannot do it for very long and when those checks stop then you will HAVE to go back to work only Verizon won't re-hire you. Better study up on those Burger King New Employee manuals.
