i bet with 12 to 24 inches of rain coming from the hurricane, your workers are just an albatross around your neck, and landlines are useless? im sure it would have only taken 3 or 4 million managers whose customary job is to change the paper coffee filters in the office the ability to keep up? pay up and shut up, you're a profitable company

With a hurricane approaching you idiots went back to work, WHY? Because you were scared about insurance? Because over 1000 contractors were being put in place each day working on your jobs? Because the CWA refused to support your strike and TOLD YOU TO GET BACK TO WORK?
I agree the managers couldn't hold down the fort, but the contractor work force being put in place overwhelmed the union and they ran back with their tails between their legs.- 2 Replies to csecomm

csecomm, actually the contractor work force that Verizon considered putting in place overwhelmed Verizon with their "billing" for the hours they supposedly 'worked". When Verizon realized the contractors where going to cost them a lot more then their own union workers they begged the union to come back.
