Verizon Communications Inc. Message Board

cc on my FCC compaint. I would send it to Verizon privately, but they just hang up on me rather than helping. Verizon is ruining (1) one of my businesses, and (2) my day. Howard @ Atlantic States LImo

Please note the attached. I have bought the business of the previous owner of the phone numbers in question. One phone number is 856-742-8600 and I don’t know the other one. About two weeks ago, I followed Verizon’s procedure and the change was made, and my phone number 888 284 6235 was established as the number to which 8600 should be forwarded. For some period of time, perhaps 1-2 business days, I was receiving calls appropriately. I received perhaps 5-7 calls each day. Then the calls started routing to the previous owner, Gary Shatz (cc) who advised he started receiving calls again. On multiple occasions I have called Verizon to attempt to correct this. Not knowing that it would become the fiasco which it has become, I did not record these details. I believe on Tuesday of this week the calls returned to me, and then Wednesday Mr. Shatz advised they were coming his way again.

I have called Verizon perhaps 10 times. I have been disconnected. I have left messages for supervisory personnel who have not returned these calls. Today I was told that they were targeting November 19 to fix it, which would seem absurd. People everywhere are hitting *… and forwarding calls all over the place, as I do on my phone system in my office, but Verizon cannot do this.

Please understand that having bought a service business, and with existing customers not coming through, I believe that the purchase of the number is now a bad deal which I cannot recover and my damages are substantial.

    Thank you.
