    what happens

not sure here either ... it would mean increased revenue , profit , cash flow , but will debt. but will also
save about $1 bil/yr on those preferred divs ...
i'm just wondering if anyone has ideas how all of that will affect stock price and div payout .. .garce

    • I believe a short term drop due to the debt to do the buyout. But if there were a great time to buyout VOD it would be now. Interest rates are the lowest they can get, High grade Corporate debt is in demand. VOD wants/needs the cash.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • yes , VOD wants cash , they also have a mandate to trip their foreign holdings , so they may be
willing or wanting to give up their stake in VZW ... I don't see any choice for VZ , but to buy which
will add debt , but also will juice up the fcf , revs and earnings .. i don't know if all that would be a
wash , but would definitely be great in the long term .. just trying to see if anyone on the board
has some thoughts , or has seen numbers crunched ... g
