T has a larger market cap so I wouldn't rule them out. However they missed the boat early on, so it comes back to bite them. Now they are going back into Uverse and products they should have been pushing all along... However the early bird gets the worm, so to speak. So make up your own mind... I believe VZ in the long term and they have never let me down yet! Yes T might be one to get in to right now. Stock does look under valued. Of course I have held VZ for 25 years and I have seen their progression into the market place, and they also are in a better position than T imo.cd
if you believe that , then by all means .. buy T ... the "telecom revolution" has pretty much matured , the low
hanging fruit has been picked ... going forward the winners will be the better managed companies ....
true competition ahead , in that each company is going to try and poach from the others ... VZ's lead with
4g LTE puts them in a great position ... T and others will have to keep shelling out capex at a high rate
to catch up ... also , expect VZ to shed some peripheral businesses over the next few years ... g
I sold my VZ last week. I had VOD all along and I just bought T yesterday. So yes, I think T is a great buy now. I will hold VOD until all distributions are made next year. Hard to say what to do with VOD now. I will buy more T on any weakness. Besides, what if T bought the rest of VOD? I think it would be a great deal for T.
Why does growth have to be about the same? VZ has a superior network that no other carrier can come close to. VZ has a bigger footprint and much better prospect for growth.
You're better off with VZ. Don't listen to the shorties on this forum. They're snake-oil salesmen.
