The risk of the Ebola virus making its way out of Africa into Europe, Asia or the Americas is extremely low, according to infectious disease specialists, partly due to the severity of the disease and its deadly nature.
Patients are at the most dangerous when Ebola haemorrhagic fever is in its terminal stages, inducing both internal and external bleeding, and profuse vomiting and diarrhoea - all of which contain high concentrations of infectious virus.
(CNN) -- A U.S.-contracted medical charter flight left Cartersville, Georgia, Thursday to evacuate two American charity workers in Liberia infected with Ebola hemorrhagic fever, a source told CNN.
A CNN crew saw the airplane, a long-range business jet, depart shortly after 5 p.m. ET. The plane matched the description provided by the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
I didn't make this up, look for this headline "U.S. officials in talks to bring Ebola-stricken missionaries home from Africa" I feel sorry for those from the US that went over to Africa and contracted this, I am sure they were very careful, but they contracted Ebola. Any US official entertaining this notion of bringing them back should be first in line to have them stay at their homes with their families or better yet, have these Ebola carriers go stay at the White House.
