I have no idea why this person sold or bought. I can say that I do understand the situation radio is in. I can also say as a 25 year veteran that I disagree with many that have posted reasons that anyone named Dickey is to blame. However, they are everything that is wrong with radio. The tactics used to move thousands of people out and the actual situation at most radio clusters is not understood by investors. These stations are being operated with 2 to 3 full time people in a 6 station cluster or more! There are no chiefs and no indians. Some do not even have engineers. I never see any posts about this. Where are all the people that have lost their jobs and have seen the pitiful situation in these stations? It is the most inbelievable thing I have ever seen in my 25 years in radio. I am not a person that has been fired more than once from this place. I quit and walked away from a business I used to love. Built a station and was #1 for 25 years. What a crazy group of people. May God have mercy on your souls.
