In the past two hours I've seen three ads on T.V. featuring computers with the Intc processor.
The first two commercials was from Dell, then a third from Gateway........none of these ads contained the Intel logo, or that annoying logo tune.......does this mean that Intel is cutting back on their advertising dollars. or are these two manufacturing channels looking to distance themselves from Intel.
"Just my opinion, they are giving very little incentives for P4 and are focusing on the Centrino scam."
Sounds about right. The Pentium M (Centrino) has some headroom left while the P4 is wheezing its last gasp at 3.2 GHz. Intel makes the bulk of their revenues from the first half of a new release's lifespan. No new releases and Intel is up sh*t creek as their lineup begins to age and decrease in price due to competition.
