On paper bulldozer is a lovely chip. Bulldozer was on the drawing board (people were even working on it) even back when I was there. All I can say is that by the time you see silicon for sale, it will be a lot less impressive, both in its own terms and when compared to what Intel will be offering. I don't really want to reveal what I know about Bulldozer from my time at AMD, nor do I want to go into details of what my friends are telling me.
What do you know and understanding about the Bulldozer architecture? Why don't you wait and see it for yourself and don't listen to rumor too much. I will tell you that Bulldozer Architecture will be a lot faster than Magny- Course processor.
I know about business itself .. not much about chips ..
to be a good business you have to bring out products on schedule fill out a line so you can face competition ... cut the PR down to a level so you are not an industry joke.
Where is the chip ? yeah nobody knows .... don't tell me customer cancellations don't flood in with performance like this , manufacturers have enough problems themselves they don't need losses cause by others.
When did we first hear about an Amd bulldozer ...????
Can anyone remember ?
Am article posted on here is 6 years old so its longer than that ..
So if it was in planning at least 7 years ago even if it was brought out now it would be an antique . Amd should try selling jokes instead of chips !
