AMD's comical guidance...
Apple says the current quarter will be awesome.

Intel says the current quarter is strong.

NVDA says the current quarter is solid.

AMD? The current quarter will suffer from weak PC demand.

Baloney. The current quarter will suffer from AMD saturating the channel it's been stuffing for two quarters coupled with the reality of truly poor performing products.

  Didn't Intc have good guidance going into last Qt?
  Then didn't they change it? Couldn't this be a trend? Who's telling it as it is?

  Are you sure about NVDA's claims? Did you see the press release they issued about an hour ago? They're expecting to report revenue of about $950M, versus a $1066M prior forecast. So that's about a $100M revenue miss. AMD's statement sounds OK to me; I would not characterize it as a 'unique to AMD' problem.
