IDC regarding Q3 2012: "The drop can be attributed to disappointing sales of server processors, and the relatively low demand for this year's "Trinity" APUs. Even the K1-based Phenom II and Athlon II processors have sold better. The analysts state that AMD now holds between 16.1 and 17 percent of the x86 market."
AMD during the Q3 2012 CC: "Revenue for the third quarter of 2012 was $1.27 billion, down 10% sequentially, driven by an 11% decline in the Computing Solutions segment and a 7% decline in the Graphics segment revenue. Gross margin was 31%, down 15% sequentially, partially due to the $100 billion inventory write-down which adversely impacted gross margin by 8 percentage points."
Mercury Research Q3 market share data:
AMD K8/K10 = 4224 Ms of units
AMD Trinity = 4023 Ms of units

Best post I've seen so far on the Board. Too bad it was buried as a response. It deserves to be its own post. The comments are from amd_dying.
