Good news for intel. Bad news for desktop geeks.

What is up with your stupid how to get laid comments.... If Intel does this, they just give up a huge percentage of market share. This is where AMD's niche is Design SOC's that go in sockets. And they can dominate the enthusiast share of the market. This could be the bone that Intel throws AMD's way. AMD is the OC crown holder. And on a mass manufactured scale, these :"costly" sockets are a few bucks a piece. Intel's Ultrasucks was a major flop. They have no chance getting one of their x86 outdated junk in a real tablet. AMD made the right move. They will have a 64 bit ARM apu, with x86 instruction sets for backwards compatibility, and their award winning GPU's. And if they can get the power consumption lower, these chips will be perfect for tablets or servers for the cloud.

Withdraw your employment application from my company. You are fired before you're hired.

You think just like micro brain Amd. The enthusiasts (all 10 of them) can't buy enough to cover an Amd lunch. Amd thinks just like you - tiny insignificant volume. This, while intel zeros in on 200 million chips.

Say, why don't you put in an application at AMD? They probably want some new more on enthusiasm in all their bleakness.
