AMD hardware will be in the next gen game consoles, Playstation4 and Xbox720 will be here in 2013

This is a fact that you can not deny, as nvidia jumped into the console/handheld business with their Shield Project, it's very unlikely for SONY or Microsoft to use nvidia parts in their console system, as nvidia is indirectly competing with both game console manufacturers, trying to create a unified open gaming community using their project. SONY will definitely dump nvidia because they have been the king of proprietary game console manufacturer for decades. Currently, rumors are hinting AMD hardware (their Radeon 8000 series GPU) being used in both Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 and Playstation 4 should be released some time in 2013.

AMD has debts, but if they market their new products correctly, they can turn the situation around. People in the high up has high salary but doesn't do much work, that's why it's a good thing for AMD to cut loose with the blood sucking leeches who's salary vs workload ratio is unbalanced, so people in the high ups leaving AMD is a very good thing for AMD to cut down their operation costs.

AMD going bankrupt? haha, that's funny, SONY will use parts from a bankrupted company in their next gen game console? Remember, "your (sony & microsoft) enemy's (nvidia) enemy (amd) is your friend (amd)", and nvidia is making enemies with both Microsoft and SONY with their Shield Projects, they are sooo getting dumped.

At current price, it's a bargain not to stock up on some, doubt it will go much lower than what it's at right now.

If you don't like to take risk, don't buy this, ZNGA (Zynga) is a much less risky stock to go for because they have lots cash on hand and very little debt.

If you are the type that likes the idea of "no pain no gain" and you are looking for some short term double ups, grab some amd while it's still low, this thing can rebound any moment.

If you already have amd shares, you should hold, there's no need to be scared of the spammers trash talking amd, they are just here shorting the stocks to make some quick profits, if stock goes down, they get money for it, so why wouldn't they trash talk and spam as much as they can?

We all know amd has been around for decades, sure they are not as fast as intel, clock for clock, but their prices justify their performance, intel is faster but also much more expensive, the price you pay for a intel quadcore, you get amd 8core, amd is making good progress with their trinity fusion processors, they are making improvements every year and they are also improving on their tablet processor, if they can release their products on time and get oems to use their parts for new tablets, they can easily get out of their debts, this last part is abit tough to do because Intel has a monopoly going on, it's unfortunate amd already got paid by Intel to stop suing them for antitrust.

    • AMD's chips are the cause of delays with the next gen Sony and Microsoft consoles. AMD's incompetence is costing both Microsoft and Sony hundreds of millions of dollars a month in lost business. I wonder if AMD will get sued?

      • Why would AMD get sued for SONY and Microsoft's own decision? Radeon 8000 series are right around the corner, release date for mobile parts: q1 2013. Is AMD losing to Nvidia in the graphics department? No. I can't see why SONY and Microsoft would want to buy parts from their enemy (Nvidia) who's plotting on SONY and Microsoft with Project Shield.

Thanks for confirming the net rumors going around that SONY and Microsoft are using AMD parts, with your replies, you are confirming the usage of AMD parts in the next gen consoles yourself.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy
