This is absolutely true. nVidia couldn't make any business case for supplying chips to Sony for $5 per chip. AMD, on the other hand, who has been paying fab partners hundreds of millions NOT to make chips for it and who labors under severe excess inventory and los demand problems, has plenty of chips to offer at or below cost.
Of course, AMD's margins will be completely shot, but at least it will delay another embarrassing inventory write-down.
Nvidia is pretty much just like the well known 24/7 "Ouya Pumper" here, they flood the internet with BS, FUD and lies trying cover up the truth. The truth being nividia didn't have the required designs and has NO way of making APUs, they counldn't handle it, not the pure BS they had "other" projects going on. Only AMD bashers buy into the nvidia hype and we know who they are, the same clowns posting garbage here everyday.
