Sounds to me from earnings CC that the Seamicro product hasn't been moving all that well, not very promising listning to Ms. Su

Could have been a BIG mistake purchasing that company. When the CFO said if they need more cash he has a few levers to pull. Hope he doesn't mean a TRAP DOOR to Chapter 11. Getting very nervous.

    • Seamicro was purchased to push AMD servers (which HP recently jumped on board with).. but Seamicro is also a move to push into the cloud computing arena with opteron servers.. It will help usher in more revenue for AMD.

Besides it's a profitable company, so it's bring cash in and pushes AMD products. Makes it ok in my book.

      • Hey pump tard Seamicro has NOTHING to do with HP servers. HP doesn't need anything from peewee Seamicrocrap, they have their own fabric interconnect that shames peewee Seamicrocrap.

        Sentiment: Strong Sell

      • Mr. ozzman, I'm not an expert just cautiously investing in the company but getting a bit jittery. I want and hope they, (AMD) do very much succeed in turning this company around. Not a fan of Intel and never will be so my concern is that if they have a "FEW LEVERS" to pull as the CFO stated, I just hope that CH 11 isn't one of them. That's my concern and Dr. Su didn't sound very confident about the last qtrs. results being less Seamicro than the 4 qtr. of 2012.That's why I feel a bit more skeptical than before the CC. Thanks for your response.

        Sentiment: Hold
