Because somehow AMD's x86 license gives them zero access to the technology that makes Intel's Silvermont an ARM-killer. I suspect it's got everything to do with the fab and only a little to do with design.

You're confused again, it's intel that steals AMD's ideas, one day you might understand this. And as far as eassa's boasting about intel's processes, GF and TSMC will be able to provide AMD with it's FAB's and they BOTH have *plenty* of cash to upgrade. On the other hand, intel has to keep dumping billions in it's FABs and those billions have been evaporating these days.
Yes, I would be very worried to if I were you as well. Feldman is going to put a world of hurt on intel. Can't wait to hear the slander campaign intel does with this "Seattle" chip. You intel pumpers will have to work overtime on this one!
