AMD is not insolvent. Denny has completely invented that claim and when confronted with facts from several other sources that show AMD to have approximately +$500M in net assets Denny just dismisses that as "vapor assets' and stand by his unsubstantiated and invented claim that they are insolvent.
Think about that for a second; in Denny we are dealing with a person that completely invents information that suits his agenda and when confronted with evidence that his claims are baseless he simply rejects reality and regurgitates his delusions as though they carry the weight of fact.
Or he is just a pathological liar.
It really makes no difference whether he actually believes his ridiculous claims or wether he is simply lying - the action on our part is exactly the same:
And nothing will be changed 2 years from now, and AMD will still be in business . . . They don’t need to file for reorganization since the current setup is, for the foreseeable future, just fine . . . it’ll just take them 15 years to pay off their CURRENT debt.
I don't think they will be able to file . You have to have a plan and a decent chance of coming back. They would have to keep the small amount of cash they now have a kill off payments to creditors . Now if you were a big tablet maker would you entrust your next tablet to amd ? I won't even answer that ! Also if amd takes a dive tsmc will trust amd for millions of console chips after not getting paid for what was shipped possibly ? Nah AMD is not getting up off the mat .
