I have a Celeron 300a and have overclocked it to 450. It cost me $89 to have a 450. Most motherboards these days are built to OC. Celeron, Abit, Asus are all working together to drive the sales of the Celeron chip. Have you seen the increasing amount of web pages designed to OC. I have a Intel 450 with a 12 MB Voodoo 2 card, 3.2 gig drive, 56K USR modem, 64 MB SDRAM, 10 Base T Ethernet card, etc. etc. under $400 US spent.
