Does anyone else also think that the athlon
cannot run any faster. I hooked up my athlon to my
oscillyscope to look at the clock pulses. Guess what, very
noisy. I don't think they can run these things much
faster
what do you think?
That is not an oscillyscope moron. It is your
microwave. You will get much better results if you try
sticking your head in it first. The lead, I assume your
problems are a result of lead poisoning, will decrease the
noise. If it isn't better, try another 20 minutes on
high.
partly correct. they max out the multiplier at @ x10. the cure is a faster fsb, ie. 266 vs 200. 30% faster. the .13 process will be @50% faster on top of that. should see 2 Ghz and more.
Wrong again how many leads did you use and where were the attached?? I think your fill of shit!!! DIRT BAG
you simply solder an attatchment onto the A32 pin (top left looking from above)
I'm not sure you even know what a oscillyscope is.
Maybe you used a noisegenerator instead of the athlon...Since the 486-pin-announcement i believe you are able to such a disaster.
yeah, the athlon was one big noise generator
