Yes, yes, yes, I know. And it truly pains me. PiKA threads should not be spent pondering the nuances of conservative versus libertarian political ideology.
They should be spent concentrating on skanks, and hot tubs, and PiKA Purple Passion Punch, and cafeteria tray sled racing, and stadium golfing, and hayrides with the sleazy DZ's.
Absolutely, but still, our government must protect life (you know, life, liberty, happiness?). In this case, I'm defining life as the moment the heart starts. Some may also define it as the moment a fetus is viable outside the mother's womb. I guess I draw a distinction between a fetus and an embryo.
The judiciary has become not only the arbiter of the constitution, but also a legislature in its own right. A libertarian is against this type of behavior.
I never said abortion was a conservative agenda--it is and has always been a religious agenda that has been pushed as a "conservative" issue by the same people who have hi-jacked the republican party. As far as "gay rights" are concerned, there evidently still seem to be laws on the books in states which attempt to limit their personal freedoms (Texas a recent example)--I don't have to approve of their lifestyle to support their right to live it--isn't that, after all a cornerstone of the concept of personal freedom in this country?
"moron and racist"...again, nothing but name calling. i see you know full well how to practice the "scorched earth" tactic of the clinton years. no real answers or intelligent comeback, just name calling to defend such a weak position. you bore me...
i'm through with you...
