FWIW...trending up. Mall and office vacancy at relatively low levels as sq ft price increasing. Values near 06 levels in corporate space with leasing up strong. Much hot spot variability but broad movement. Is it feasible to keep the comments regarding price of items, number of cars in parking lot, or education of staff to other postings?
With Hudsons Bay buying Saks I think Saks will take over some of Sears Canada locations especially the prime location at yonge and Dundas in Toronto at Eaton Centre. 1 million square feet Sears bought our of bankruptcy from Eatons who disappeared in 1999. They were one of developers of Eaton Centre and prime tenant so that lease deal has to be great one. Collecting 200million for sellilng back two leases this year is nothing compared to what Eaton Centre one million square feet will get. SHLD and especially Sears Canada headed much higher imho.
