Well, once again I'm kicking myself for not paying enough attention to get this thing shorted in time. I used to be a fairly regular K-Mart customer (and occasionally Sears), but I've gotten so disgusted with the nuisance spamming nonsensical over-complicated over-emphasized "Shop Your Way Rewards" program that I just stay away from both stores. At least for me, and I suspect for many others, they've created a very negative attitude towards the stores and usually a customer's negative attitude reverses slowly, if ever. I think they almost deserve to be bankrupt. Don't have enough interest to bother to look at the financial statements, but I do wonder a bit how they account for all those "points" they are supposedly giving away. If the points (which eventually translate to dollars) aren't being accounted for properly; sales, revenue, etc. could be a lot worse than it appears.
