Hey lusob, I notice you trade alot and pay $7 commissions.
You have options, no pun intended.
Merrill Edge offers 30 free trades per month which, I believe, you'd qualify for, and, after the free 30, trades are only $6.95 each. 30 free trades per month works out to yearly savings of $2520 ($7 X 30 X 12) in commissions alone, and if you put that money saved to work for you then it works out even better for you.
Zecco is $4.95 per trade. They no longer offer free (no commission) trades unless it's part of a promotion to join their service.
Trade king is also $4.95 per trade.
Options house is $3.95 per trade.
Just 2 trade is $2.50 per trade.
There are sites with rates available to daytraders which aren't available to us regular traders which might be even more beneficial to you. I haven't researched them because they don't apply to me.
You'd have to do comparisons to see which service you'd prefer. For example, if you trade 50 times per month, then with Merrill Edge you'd pay $139 per month after the 30 free trades, but with Just 2 Trade you'd pay $125 per month.
Maybe it would make sense to have 2 brokers. Each month trade 30 times or less with Merrill Edge and trade the rest of the time with Just 2 Trade. If it makes sense to you then maybe that's the way to go. You'd have to review your trading history/pattern to see which stocks/ETFs would make sense for that arrangement.
