Yahoo's quotation page has trailing EPS and PE drastically wrong for LOW. Any three of the last four quarters produced more reported earnings than Yahoo quotes. Check out the earnings releases or SEC filings (or even Yahoo's link to LOW financials).
Disclosure: I don't think LOW is such a great investment.
I think LOW is generating lots of excitement by progressively increasing debt & taking credit for the resulting earnings growth ... on a company that now belongs 37% (debt over debt+equity) to lenders & only 63% to shareholders. (Equity as a percentage of balance sheet has decreased about 8% from 68% to 63% in the past year alone [i.e., 68%/63% = 1.08].)
