We had a visit from our store managers bosses boss. To get ready for his visit we moved everything in the store to make the shelves look full. We have now created irp (inventory replishment program) night mare, because we now do not know where our inventory is at. We do the irps and no one will take the missing item off of the books. The system will not re-order items untill we reach "0", so needed items are not being reordered. We are pushed to make sales and push add ons, but we dont have the items that the customers are asking for. They leave a half filled buggy to go where they can get what they need. We have lost many customers to the home depot because we dont have or quit carring what they need. The bean counters have drove our customers away from our store. We have items that we get one at a time and sell it and wait 3/4 weeks for another one to come in. Some one please wake up and realize what is going on. I hope upper management reads this and does some improvements. The ways lowes got a handle on its inventory is to have no inventory, or cheap sh-- no one wants.
you are soooo correct. i was a dedicated Lowe's shopper, until about two years ago. they have gone way down on so many levels. They could fire the top management and pay them millions for destroying the company.
You complain because your lowes store has no "inventory", and are losing custmomers to home depot!!!

how disloyal of you to send your email out for" :all to read",!!!! Why not complain to your management!!! Lowes management are the only ones who can help you!!! Give them a chance!! Write your letter to your home office, with copy to newspaper!!! Your mgmt.will not fire you, because the "newspaper" will protect you!!! you will become a hero to customers, and other lowes employees!!
