I had my annual conversation with the rep that sold me my coverage two years ago. Here's the scoop. Sales are up 70% over the 50% increase from last year. Offices nationwide have increased from 60 to 85. Most of the problems with agents occurred in the Mega division. The reason, agents were payed upon presentation of a signed contract not a final approval. I have seen this happen in other types of sales organizations that pay on presentation as compared to payment. Probably explains the reason of others on this board that proclaim to have problems getting there money out of UCI as an agent. A salesperson comes in submits tons of fake contracts, gets paid and leaves. I've seen it happen over an over again when companys pay this way. My understanding is that the company now only pays after confirming and getting payment from the client. IN my opinon the coverage is good but it isn't suppose to be great. IT's priced very fair as a quasi full coverage catostrophic policy. I like the product. The same rep that sold me the policy two years ago is still there and very available for discussion. I like the prospects.
