"Apple is cutting iPhone output in the second half, according to Brian Blair at Wedge Partners.
In his note, the analyst said that the company is reducing smartphone production by 20 percent because of the "slowing demand for high-end handsets globally," which recently showed up in poor sales of such smartphones at competitors such as Samsung and HTC. "
Makes no statement why and I think most have had Apple at 100 all along. Is that right?
Grade and MK, I am always amazed how much an analyst's statement can affect the ups and downs of a stock when lets face it, none of it is based on actual fact just opinion. why don't companies respond to some of these statements and defend their positions if what is said is a falsehood. when these jerks are wrong in many cases, then they slowly fade away. these people can really disrupt the market as is usually the case.
that makes 2 of us. this latest drop is because some a/h from Citi claims that the PC semi people are hurting because of poor sales. as usual they put us in that group. like I said in another post, a bunch of idiots.
