I just couldn't rest until commenting on drc2100 post stating many people on this board expect VLNC to reach $100.00 per share. I actually think that he and other truly believe this....he even mentioned the possibility if $300.00 per share. Now let's examine the reality of this "pipe dream".
With 133.14 M shares authorized by VLNC; multiplied by $100.00 bucks = $133,140,000,000 market capitalization. That's $133.14 Billion Dollars of Market Capitalization.
Whereas GE currently has a market cap of $164B. GE has posted $153.0 Billion (ttm) of revenue to reach this valuation for comparison.
Valance posted $16.9 Million (ttm) of revenue during the same period.
The financial analysis can only support a stock price for VLNC of approximately $1.30 maximum under the most "pollyanna" prospects with current revenue and "potential revenue" possibilities.
Nowaynohow has pegged this stock "on-target" however, the "permabulls" would rather bash his posts than face reality. LMAO
<<100 * 133mil = 13.3 billion an easy accomplishment for this stock in a few years.>>
People wonder why I spend so much time posting on this board? Comments like the above are far more entertaining to me than anything on TV.
In the current market, a p/e ratio of 20 is pretty rich. In order for VLNC to have a market cap of $13.3 billion with a p/e ratio of 20, my 3rd grade math tells me it would have to generate $665 million of PROFIT per year.
Doesn't that seem just a tad optimistic for a company that hasn't generated a single penny of profit over the last 21 years?
