    The Bad News

The bad news about the increase in guidance for this quarter is it simply means that Smith is burning through its government stimulus money faster than was expected, which means the temporary, subsidized revenue spike will end sooner rather than later.

As soon as the market figures out that the revenue spike is mostly due to the one-time, taxpayer subsidized 50% off sale at Smith (I don't think those idiots at Needham realize this), back down she goes from today's nosebleed level.

$170 million market cap for a company with a grand total of $4.8 million in plant, property, and equipment, and debt of $80 million. ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • DUMP IT NOW AND BUY aone GO 2 100

    • I always try to buy low then sell Lower!!! Its a passion..
      Ha HA Ha Ha Ha

    • Actually the market cap of 170 Million on a company who's earnings will be 40Million for the current year means that the company is only trading at 4.25X earnings.. Which is low for even a speculative play.. The norm is 8-15 X earnings and being that they are on the rise with ALL their customers (you seem to be very focused on just one) good luck getting your money back!!

Actually every one of those things were true when they were said (and some STILL are true).

The "stealth battery" came when VLNC's own SEC filings said they HAD NO PRODUCTS FOR SALE. That did not stop the company and this message board from touting that $100 million contracts were imminent. I was right and the stock touts were wrong. More than a decade later, revenue is STILL insiginficant, 82 STRAIGHT QUARTERLY LOSSES have been booked, and not a single $100 million contract has been signed.

As far as the "big revenue increase" the touts are now touting, big deal, $12 million. That is a "big revenue increase?" ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • mc, the list is a great deal longer than that, but your point is well taken.

Try to ignore the liar and concentrate on your list of questions for the cc.

    • Really??????

The good news is that summary by you nolifelowlife was composed by a complete moron, lying, lowlife sleaze ball looser that hasn't got a clue what is going on. Keep searching for the dark side I hope it consumes you!!!!!!! In fact I believe it already has. LOL

TA TA dipchit or should I say crusty.

    • “Our bookings are robust, our short term component supply issues have improved and our manufacturing output has been increased in response to customer demand. We are very pleased with our strong top line results for the second quarter and feel that Valence’s position within the market continues to strengthen,” summarized Kanode.

i would interpret a stmt like this issued after the qtr ended is expecting higher top line result in the current qtr. Pay mkt price please, no game....

    • Thanks for your input. I took the liberty of forwarding your email to Michael Lew at Needham so the idiots know what's going on. Great job of analyzing. You have such a wealth of knowledge. It's amazing that no one has thought of this. It's just unbelievable. If you hear back from Michael please share his response.

What, you think just because somebody is employed as an "analyst" they actually know something. Here's a bit of history. This company has been touted by many "analysts" over the years. Every single one of them has been dead wrong in their touts and recommendations, and anybody foolish enough to buy the stock based on their recommendations has lost a fortune.

I would not be surprised if Needham gets a cut of whatever toxic financing deal comes next, just like most of the other "analysts" who have touted this POS over the years.

      • that is the way to do it....hahaha. someone is looking at depreciated plant book value while playing the high growth, patent leader in a soon to be game changing space that is the 2nd largest spending of most consumer behind housing. LOL...

    • U use that word burning an awful lot, I wonder why. you been to england lately.
there is billions more available for subsides and grants, which will bring the prices down through sheer volume as any business person knows. as far as market not figuring it out, I guess your the only smart one, alls one needs to do is ask you, and you'll tell them right. or the market must know li-ion battery market is growing by billions $ each year and not listen to your drivel. but you is tryin real hard to make it look like everyone is dumb and you is smart aint ya. only an idiot would think a growth company starts out big and then gets smaller, some do get smaller but it looks like VLNC just got bigger by 3X in one year and somehow thats bad to you, moron.
