Another Special DIV.....while gathering assets, next to zero debt...and HFWA keeps marching down its path of prosperity virtually unknown outside the Northwest, Washington and part of Oregon to be specific.
Thats good, no games, nothing but NET ! Keep up the great work Olympia!
I have owned it since the conversion. Still not sure we need physical banks...when you can deposit checks and pay bills on your cell phone-who needs real estate? How many gen-x'ers ave ever been in a bank?
You may be correct! Some say we are headed toward a PLASTIC only form of exchange deliberatly eliminating money/cash in its current form.
However, at some point, folks needing a car loan, home loan, corp. loan are going to sit down with someone though once a rep is establiushed with said bank/lending inst. perhaps the need to meet face to face is no longer needed after that first get ta know ya meeting.
However, for this all to occur, everything about you is going to have to be online and some folks just don't like it that way especially anyone who has suffered Ident. Theft.
However, i do see fees banks charge going up for providing the square footage and face to face transactions merely because we are certainly gravitating toward doing it all online right now! IE paperless statements etc., etc.
One more thing, computers, cell phones, etc. are all great when they work! LOL!
