We've got to love the cynical nature in which CVS is packaging employee benefit reductions as "benefits." Does anyone else think that upper management really believes that we will buy into the new "Total Rewards" program as anything other than a screwjob against employees. Human Resources is evil and maybe it's time to consider a union at corporate HQ.
I hate to say it, but companies that chisel workers, and make them do the job of 2 people, generally cause their stocks to rise with better earnings.
Today in the USA, people have to work much harder and more productive or be fired or just suffer the ordeal.
Their HC coverage has been getting worse every year, for a company in the "health" industry its pathetic, and they are self insured... they are realigning CVS & Caremark pay packages (idiots havent done it over the 6 yrs since merging)... they cut the vacation & sick time for all employees and its very low compared to most companies.... the annual bonus keeps getting tweeked and will eventually go away in a few years....
Yet they want to hire 500 employees in IS next year because they are drastically cutting domestic & offshore contractors... Idiots cant hire anyone when your pay & benefits suck!!
Is CVS holding you hostage??? Do we need to call 911 for you...? If you don't like what your paid or your benefits....LEAVE! Find you another job...I mean if you think you are worth more....go see if another company is willing to give it to you...I bet you can't...because you are lazy...you chose to post about it...instead of doing something about it.
Cvs sucks,They run there stores with two employees running around like chickens with there heads cut off on the front end of there store,then want to screw employees out of benefits.How much more can these blood suckers suck out of there workers.
