Where are all the new movies on Stream?

If I wanted to watch old shows, I would use You Tube.

    • Why pay Netflix for old movies when you can get them free at the library. Only Blockbuster has new releases 28 days before Redbox and Netflix.

Guy at the office water cooler asked me today if I had seen this new movie "that just came out" I said, "what movie are you talking about?" he said, "I think it was called blindsided". I then replied, "You must be a Netflix subsciber." He asked,"how did you know that?" I replied "it was the stupid look on your face that gave it away"

      • Just cancelled my subscription too. Old movies look horrible on the new HD TV's and most I have seen a few times, at least the classics.

I had to reduce my subscription from 3 out at a time to 1 out and still couldn't get any recent releases. I called to cancel and asked why they didn't have enough to go around and was told they are limited to the number of copies the studios will allow them to purchase. Obviously this is a major problem if you want to add new subscribers and can't deliver current titles.

Not sure if the studios want to control the rentals in order to sell the DVD's when they first come out, but this is not good for Netflix. We all know content or product is king and if they can't get the product, the who needs their service.
