LOL....I'm not bitter at all, sport.
I'm just telling the truth.
Fact is, I SHORTED this bloated POS today at $127.75.
Let's see where it goes from here, and then we'll see just who is bitter.
The landscape will change soon. The movie industry is already talking about making new releases available after a couple of weeks at the box office, the cable companies will adapt, and watching movies on the internet is going to continue to grow.
The cable companies are not just going to roll over and let Netflix and the internet take all of the business. Pretty soon they will have pay-per-view packages that will compete with Netflix. And Netflix doesn’t even have the technology to provide subtitles for online viewing – unless it is a foreign file that has subtitles included.
Don’t get me wrong – I use Netflix myself and I think it’s a good company – but I think it will be a very good short someday . . . soon.

I agree with you..the industry is changing..
In the business section of the New YOrk Post Business section today, there is a story about cable companies releasing movies for VOD, as it is still in theatre. Price? 20-30...per viewing..not too competitive if you ask me..
Lets keep in mind that NFLX has exploited the Industry. When everyone talks about the Industry changing, they assume NFLX will stand still. Look @ the deals they are cutting..
What have cable companies done up until now? They ahve always had much more capital than NFLX, why didnt they stomp on them already? NFLX started eating into their business ALONG time ago...not yesterday morning...
All these companies also have contract with movie studios, that is benefical to maintain certain models. VOD doesnt work for cable companies...
