The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is poised to add the Internet to its portfolio of regulated industries. The agency's chairman, Julius Genachowski, announced Wednesday ... online movie streaming services like Netflix have highlighted an area of potential concern...
IMO; Cramer's buddies have a boat load of NFLX they need to unload if the FCC sinks it's parasitic claws into the web... the free web was great while it lasted, but now; someone has to pay for the bailouts of the old media companies.
The top in NFLX was put in just as it was announced the FCC was going to destroy the free internet a few weeks ago... it's now all downhill for NFLX if the FCC gets it's hooks into the web; get ready for a 24 month decline to $2
The free interent was good while it lasted ... but once the GOVT.. gets involved in an industry, THEY ALWAYS REDUCE PROFITS via new REGULATIONS, FEES, AND TAXES.
Rupert Murdoch said about 12 months ago, that free internet news/movies was coming to an end within a couple years... I think the old Media/News companies are behind this new FCC power grab, which is designed to place road-blocks in front of the free internet business model.
SERVICES LIKE NETFLIX have highlighted an area of potential concern ... heavy use of this sort SLOWS the Web experience for everyone sharing the same lines
FCC: WE'RE COMING FOR THE INTERNET ...
Once the FCC gets it's hooks into the internet, NetFlix will be gone within 24 months.
