What a surprise... The cable companies are going to make it easy to get your PREMIUM content anywhere you want it, including iOS and Android devices.

Netflix has no distinctive content. Premium providers (like cable) will improve their offering and lower prices some. NFLX will own only the price sensitive, high usage (the least profitable) segment -- that is if Google doesn't beat it there too...

    • The idea that a distributor ends up "owning" the content makers is absurd...

Netflix has no moat in the online world...just a brand name and a subscriber base...

The only way Netflix ends up justifying its valuation is if offline distribution can hang on for a really long time...but I don't see that happening...the move to online streaming seems to be accelerating...

The idea about that being higher margin for Netflix is nonsense because there is no way to know the margins until some serious long term contracts for content are hammered out...

Everything in streaming online at this point is subject to change...

Fools won't see that change until it is too late...

Destined to forever curse themselves for not selling at $200...

At $75 Netflix might start looking like a takeover candidate, albeit it still an expensive one...
