    Because no one on Wall Street makes money from investing anymore. It's all trading. It's why there needs to be much more financial reform / regulation (according to Icahn himself). The Street risks other people's money with huge leverage. If it goes up, they win (mainly by taking money from us). If it goes down, we lose because we give them billion dollar bailouts so they can pay billion dollar boonus pools...

    This stock's behavior does need to be investigated. There is tacit (my guess is explicit) collusion amongst the institutional holders.
