    bought calls

I bought 25 Jul 22 305 calls @ 1.45, and 35 Jul 22 310 calls @ .84. I am under water but believe a nice rebound on Monday. NFLX moves 8 points upwards intraday. Which will be a good time to close my position.
    Just my opinion and money.

    • Hey did he respond to my request?? Seems like mt topic "hey sibs" is gone...been out all day...maybe yahoo took it down...must have been a nasty response.... too funny....sorry I missed it.
Public humiliation is always good...oh well.

    • Sybl is such a nice person...........NOT

He is a disgruntled loser that cannot get along with anyone. Even himself.

Good ridens to sybl and may yourpitiful world come crashing down. Take all you other id's with you.

    • NFLX trades in a daily wide range. The play is sell my position as it goes up. I still beleive that there will be an 8 point upward intraday move. I make no predictions as to where it will close. Options are not stocks to be held for the long term. The name of game is when you show a profit run like a thief.
Juat another one of my opiinions. I hope everyone makes a ton of money no matter what side of the trade you are playing.

    • Continued... I guess your method of trading would be to always have skin in the game, in the case of netflix. Scale in with reasonable amounts shorted in case it goes against you. Being the" bloated pig"you feel it is,it will eventually make the big swan dive and you will be in position.
What is your rational for momentum stocks, as they can stay over valued for months and sometimes years.
How do you decide when to cover and or take a position? And are you always short some shares? Seems totally nerve- racking given all the volatility of netflix. That's why I do spreads with volatile momentum stocks, I try to be patient and wait for something to appear relatively obvious. But a stock like netflix will always surprise you...

    • I agree, some truth in what you are saying, bit of a poosie attitude develops when you are over doing it.Many times patience to let things set up is all that is needed. Compulsion to always have skin in the game is a deadly vice.
Most of my most successful trades were done waiting and doing nothing.
Then there it is staring you in the face.
There is always a meth head mentality that most likely befalls us bonehead.
Frankie Lee a well known trader in the 80s said most of his money was made from 2 or 3 trades in a year.

    • Once again I think NFLX will have an intraday high of 294-295 on Monday and I will close my position. Shorts will have to cover. Sybil, I remember you buying GOOG calls whenb there was only week left to expiration. Are you the same Sybil?

    • Netflix will crash after earnings! You will see why Reed Hastings and other officers of Netflix have been selling off their shares like mad! Also do you think they pushed back earnings, raised their rates, and expanded to third world country's because buisness is good? OH if you read Seekikg Alpha this week you'll see the have NO FREE CASH FLOW!!!!! OOPS- bet on my friend!

      • Hello fellow traders. From a techincal point of view, it looks like NFLX is at support. I am expecting some more downturn this week to NFLX's 20 sma of 272.48. RSI went up to 70 and then fell to 50 which usually means that next stop is 20 sma.

If NFLX does not find support, it may retrace back to its 50 sma of 260. Good luck.
