A bone-headed decision by NFLX management

Come on.. $16/month... how much are you paying for your cell phone? how many times do you drink at starbucks? And what are you going to do now? try to catch the latest movies when someone has uploaded to youtube?

    • I agree. It cost $16 just to buy a Manhattan whore one drink!

    • android,

you are right - 16 bucks is easily spent of trivials - everyday. 16/month should not be much.

i was using the internet streaming. DVD by mail seems to require a little bit of planning - sorry too lazy for that. But it felt good to have that option - just in case I spotted a movie too compelling to wait for it to come by mail.

internet streaming had a small collection (for now) and new movies were seldom there. But it did have lotsa older TV episodes and quite a bit of live comedy shows. Streaming was indeed good quality and without hassle.

I plan to use redbox for DVD releases of latest movies. I might also try Amazon's prime.

If someone tells me their internet collection is at par with their DVD-by-mail collection - and both have improved - I'll pay $16 - maybe even $19 or $25.

But something tells me - they need money now in order to improve collection.
