    Streaming Movies

We subscribed to Netflix awhile back, and were very disappointed with the movies that were available, so we canceled. I am now looking for online video streaming for moviews I really want to watch. Checked out Blockbuster as well as Amazon and Hula. Anything worthy of streaming has a cost of minimum $1.99. What is free stinks. Netflix charge for renting on movie a month of $7.99 is ridiculous. So far can't find movies I want to stream for a flat monthly fee. I am checking into Yidio. Any ideas?

    • Go to the library, read, cut down on watching TV. Has there really been anything decent in new movies over the last 1-3 years?

On a serious note, I have not found any true substitutes as I have not really looked - we have cable with on-demand, so really we just look for new stuff there. We just use the 2x DVD program w/NFLX - used to do 3x + streaming, but ran into the same issue you mentioned - lack of streaming content (I don't need to re-watch seasons of TV shows over and over), and they eliminated the 3x DVD only program. Wife has an internet job from home for a legal company, so she watches the older shows that are not on streaming and keeps the TV for background noise. It also allows us to keep up on the new releases and the savings pays my cable bill for almost 2 months.
