    • a volatile stock will usually rise & fall much faster than the run of the mill variety - nflx has been saved this year by a mkt on the rise - if the mkt corrects 10%+, look for nflx to take a bloodbath as they don't need much help in the bad news dpt - old news but a recap...

split their 2 services last year, thereby increasing price to consumer - tried to rename one of them qwixter or something similar - came out w/in days stating "we made a mistake" but not after they lost many customers

concentrating on the future/streaming which is their lower margin business - but w/no good content deals unless you consider tv reruns & the dreaded "original programming" good content

trying to make headway in the international markets but encountering issues there as well - not as easy as they thought i'm sure

competition, competition, competition as everyone and their brother is entering/has entered the streaming arena - none of which will be dominant, including nflx

nflx already on record stating 2012 more than likely will be an unprofitable year

so what you have, or will have, is multiple co's in the streaming arena of which none will dominate - and certainly none should be priced as if they will dominate as nflx is - 27x earnings w/a 6b mkt cap give or take for a "non-growth" co - make sense to anyone?

as we all know, the market can remain irrational longer than most can remain liquid - so take all of the above w/a grain of salt - but i certainly like odds of nflx falling to the 70's or below vs running above 150

    • I would cry if I were you.
