Netflix is NOT a growth company at all. It is just a struggling dying company. Its main movie mailing business is dying fast, and it is struggling to build its streaming video business because contents are very expensive and competitions are fierce. There is no profit in this industry. Netflix was having trouble stay profitable. It got lucky to report a small profit for the holiday quarter. The surprise in the quarterly report was just that people thought this company was about to die, but it managed to survive another quarter. It is not a growth story at all. Now the holiday is over, and people have to go back to work and school. Its viewers and revenues will come back down, and it will be struggling to stay profitable again.
With all the noises, Netflix actually only grew sales by a pathetic 8% year-over-year, and despite it reported $0.13 per shares of profit, that was actually down 80% from the $0.64 per share last year.
Netflix is NOT a growth company at all. Netflix is just a struggling dying old company with an extremely expensive bubble stock price.
