BTIG initiates coverage on Netflix with a Buy. PT $250.00.
"We believe the improving Netflix price/value relationship, along with high-quality, proprietary original programming will drive better than expected subscriber growth and moderate churn (the more a subscriber streams daily, the lower churn should fall)," analystRichard Greenfield said. "We also believe Netflix's content spend is now sufficiently high, where they should gain significant domestic streaming leverage, accelerating in 2014 and beyond – with domestic revenue growth outpacing content spend."
The firm's $250 price target is based on 22.5x 2014 EBITDA.
when I turned on the TV, most (99.9%) of the time I ended up watching nothing. It's all commercials and reruns (episodes/movies). But when I open NFLX, there are at least a dozen thing I can watch. The cable Companies is a big rip off ( $100/month) for mostly garbages. NFLX is the future.
If it is too cheap for what it offers, then explain how that makes it a good business model and why the stock should warrant $200/share? Seems you think consumers are way better off than the company here.
Rich Greenfield made me laugh (and out loud) when he said: "in fact it is now hard to find anyone who does not want Netflix to succeed."
Too funny. He needs to take a trip to the yahoo message board! He needs to read the latest rant from Rocco Pendola. And more seriously, he's crazy if he thinks Gary Bewkes over at Time Warner wants Netflix to succeed.
What a racket!! LOL. Already tremendously overvalued and the professional analyst upgrades the stock and of course it responds. Nevermind that this stock has already gone from under $100 to the current price in less than 3 months with very little retracement. Only in the CROOKED/manipulated world of wall street can so called "professional" analysts continuously praise overvalued, slightly profitable/unprofitable companies like NFLX, AMZN, CRM and hate a very proftable company like AAPL.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
That is the sham of it. Market correcting and many of the shams are not because that's where the manipulation is. What I've found is that if you are buying puts in the shams, when you have a decent profit, you take it because chances are they'll flip the switch on you.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Who doesn't have high quality original programming besides NBC? What's changed with the price value relationship? So if they raise prices this guy will have to come back and downgrade cause there goes his "value relationship" . Good for 10 pts of froth.
