This is the time of year many traders (expecting little action) are taking holidays, and those that haven't are finding better volatility elsewhere. Netflix is trading in a tight not particularly trade-favorable $240-$250 range.
Down a dollar and you're claiming it will gap up? Usually stocks end the day on a high note if they are going to gap up. Also, each morning when it heads up, there's someone doing some heavy selling just below 250. You won't get to 250 until Carl's done selling his shares.
